About Minca
Minca is a mountain town located 13 miles away from Santa Marta, northern Colombia. This destination is the home of around 1000 people and is famous for its crystal-clear rivers, beautiful paths, and unique bird population. Although this place is off the beaten track and requires a five-hour trip from Cartagena, the trip is well worth it to see some uniquely stunning sites like Pozo Azul, natural and cold waterfalls where you can swim.
Minca has also been a coffee plantation since the 19th century, and tourists can try cups of this delicious drink alongside traditional dishes.
